So time to start showing some of the gorgeous weddings I have had the pleasure of photographing!
If you have been following me for a while, you will know I am outdoorsy, a nature lover, sun worshiper and love an adventure. My clients are usually the same and therefore I get to photograph some of the most incredible weddings, for which is am super grateful for!
This month I am featuring Amanda and John, who's wedding I had the pleasure of photographing back in 2019 in Mijas, Spain.
Their wedding took place at Hacienda San Jose in Mijas, which is just outside of Marbella. What a wedding it was!
They had the help of their wedding planner, 'Sunshine Weddings' and a wonderful team of family and friends. Everyone stayed in the beautiful villa from a few days before the wedding, which allowed the excitement to grow and everyone to settle in before the big day itself!
If I were to describe the wedding, it would be an outdoors, destination wedding, with the most beautiful mountainous backdrop. A week long, chilled party of their nearest and dearest, celebrating love and laughter.
The whole wedding was situated at the Spanish villa. With the ceremony taking place in the beautiful gardens. The wedding breakfast and reception took place on the terrace, looking out to the gardens, with the mountains as the most scenic backdrop and a large outdoor pool, the other side.
The bride wore a stunning dress, with a heavily beaded bodice and full tulle skirt. the bridesmaids wore a pale pink which fitted with the pink floral details and copper accents of the wedding. One of my favourite details was in fact the brides Sophia Webster shoes, which when you look at the pictures below, are not only beautiful but I love the customisation. Sophia Webster herself, also seemed to like Amanda's addition and even featured my photo on her own instagram!
Another fab feature where the personalised cigars, with their names and wedding date on. such a fun touch.
Amanda and John's wedding really was set in the most beautiful destination and was an absolute pleasure of mine, to be able to capture the memories of their day for them!
